Animated Joseki
Joseki [ jo SEK ee ]: a joseki ( jeongsuk in Korean ) is a standardized sequence of play. Often in the corners , often in the opening. For a sequence to be joseki it must be fair and reasonable to both sides. Over the centuries, many such sequences have been set down.
Presented here is a small library of "films" demonstrating various joseki. My primary reference has been "38 Basic Joseki" by Kiyoshi Kosugu & James Davies, Ishi Press
In each of the following Black has a stone on the 3,4 point, & white approaches with a stone on the 5,4 point.
